June 26 is the 30th International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Many voluntary groups in Tianjin have organized activities to help people become more aware of drugs and refuse to use them. The Tianjin Hongzhu Anti-drug Voluntary Group is representative of them.

Yu Jianwen is in charge of the Tianjin Hongzhu Anti-drug Voluntary Group. Before retirement she was a police officer on the Tianjin Public Security Bureau Anti-drug Team, and joined hundreds of investigations of drug crime cases. She now puts most of her time into anti-drug publicity. She goes to schools and communities to publicize drug prohibition by talking about the cases she handled in her work.
In 2015, Yu Jianwen and 30 volunteers organized the Tianjin Hongzhu Anti-drug Voluntary Group. They presented lots of works from Peking Opera, and allegro tempo, as well as dance works, all with anti-drug themes.
Now, the group goes to more and more schools and communities to appeal to the public to keep away from drugs and build a beautiful and peaceful Tianjin.
