A Mongolian-language children's channel began broadcasting at Inner Mongolia Radio and Television Station on June 18, with the purpose of creating a platform for local Mongolian young people to learn about this ethnic language and culture.
The crew of the children's channel are composing well-acclaimed programs and producing high-quality children shows, said Zhao Chuntao, director of Inner Mongolia Radio and Television Station.
The Mongolian children's channel broadcasts on Monday and Sunday during a week, with a Chinese-language children's channel taking the rest of the days. Its programs cover scientific education shows, animation, children's dramas, and Mongolian ethnic activities.
