Baotou takes steps to popularize social science

The 11th Baotou Social Science Promotion Week started on June 10 with the aim of popularizing social science knowledge, especially legal matters, among residents, reports Baotou Daily.

Hosted by the city’s publicity department and the Federation of Social Science of Baotou, the promotion events invited experts, scholars in social science, lawyers and volunteers to different regions of the city, distributing law books and giving artistic performances.

Wu Yun, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Baotou Municipal Committee, addressed the launch ceremony, calling for a better environment for social science popularization.

At the launch, books on social science popularization were given to five communities in Baotou and awards handed to social science promotion pioneers.
