A delegation led by Zhuhai Party Chief Guo Yuanqiang visited Israel from June 6 to 10 to promote the upcoming 3rd China-Israel Investment Summit at Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center on June 27 and 28.
At the Business Environment Promotion Conference of June 6, Guo unveiled a plaque for the Zhuhai Economic & Trade Office in Israel, and Zhuhai's vice mayor, Lu Xiaofeng, delivered a keynote speech.
The conference attracted Israeli delegations from over 20 enterprises including medical apparatus, information technology, biotechnology, utilization of water resources, and intelligent city construction.
Business people agreed that the conference provided a good opportunity to better understand the investment environment and development advantages of Zhuhai.

The delegation also joined the China (Guangdong) Israel Economic & Trade Cooperation Conference on June 7, where Guo stated that Zhuhai is currently in a new-round great development.
Zhuhai is positioned to meet crucial historic opportunities such as the Belt & Road Initiative, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB), and construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It is stepping up construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Innovation High Ground and strategic pivot of the Belt & Road Initiative, Guo stated.
The party chief also said that Israel is noted for innovation and that both sides share much in common in terms of biological medicine, environmental protection, agriculture, and education.
Guo expressed hope that people from Israel's business and technology industries would join the 3rd China-Israel Investment Summit in Zhuhai.
Before the economic and trade conference, Guo met with Israel Economy & Industry Minister Eli Cohen and Aharon, head of Israel Innovation Authority, formerly known as the Office of the Chief Scientist of the Economy Ministry. They talked of strengthening trade and economic cooperation and preparations for the 3rd China-Israel Investment Summit.
In additional to the conference, visitations were also carried out by the delegation to headquarters of Israeli enterprises that have invested in Zhuhai and leaders of projects in the process of negotiation to publicize the city's investment environment.
The group also visited Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Israel Innovation Authority. At the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Matam Park, Flex Design Center Haifa, and the Trendlines Group, discussions were held concerning higher education, transformation of scientific research achievements, construction and management of hi-tech industrial parks, R&D and biomedical equipment, and the fostering of industry incubators.
During the China (Guangdong)-Israel Economic & Trade Cooperation Conference, agreements including the Memorandum of Strategic Partnership in General/Civil Aviation, Framework Agreement on China-Israel Investment Cooperation, and Framework Agreement on Co-Building Zhuhai Economic & Trade Office in Israel were signed, with a contract value of $200 billion.
To date, 98 Israeli enterprises have registered to participate in the summit.
