Baotou, the largest city of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, received 810,000 tourists during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday from May 28 to 30, according to Baotou Daily.
The total tourism revenue during the holiday period hit 410 million yuan ($60.34 million).
Baotou had pleasant weather during the three-day holiday. Tours around the city and road trips were among the top choices for residents.
Tourist attractions in the city, including Nanhai Wetland scenic area, organized a wide range of activities to boost tourism.
