Baotou website revamps to highlight tourism

Baotounews.com.cn has added a tourism subsite in English (URL: https://en.baotounews.com.cn/tourism/) to facilitate promotion of the city, according to a June 5 Baotou Daily report.

The subsite, co-initiated by the tourism bureau of Baotou and Baotou Daily, will focus on news about the city’s tourism industry in the hope of boosting the city’s profile and spurring tourism development.

The subsite features a local perspective, showing the world that Baotou has an ideal location, interesting culture and distinctive tourism attractions. It is the first English website targeting tourism in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
