Lushunkou parallel session of 15th Dalian International Walking Festival opened on May 20. The two-day walking festival attracted over 30,000 hiking lovers.
The walking routes include 5km, 10km and 15 km courses.
Participants can not only appreciate the natural scenery along the courses, but also enjoy various cultural and tourism outlets, including Lushunkou specialties display, instrumental performances and tea culture shows, which aim to promote the integrated development of sports, leisure, tourism and commercial services.
The festival offers an opportunity to further enhance the international reputation and influence of Lushunkou city as well as drive economic and social development in the region, according to the local government.
