Entrepreneurs get pep talks, opportunities in June

The 3rd International Entrepreneurship Fest and the Intelligent City Construction & Innovation Summit between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao will open in Zhuhai on June 11, it was announced at a press conference on May 25.

Sponsored by the Entrepreneurs Association of Zhuhai, Southern Software Park, Guangdong Chengzhi Technology, and the Smart City Society of Shenzhen, the event is to be held at Southern Software Park in the Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

Based on Openness & Sharing in urban development, the conference will promote employment, entrepreneurship, investment, innovation, and other multi-party collaboration and integration.

Activities include establishment of the Smart City Enterprise Alliance, launch ceremony of a Smart Talent Linkage & Young Eagles Program, and a symposium to be attended by 82 enterprises listed on the New Third Board Market.

Upgraded and expanded to accommodate entrepreneur teams from Hong Kong and Guangdong cities, the event is intended to strengthen exchanges and interactions in cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, explained Guo Zhiru, president of the Zhuhai Entrepreneurs Association.

An opening ceremony for the Guangdong headquarters of China Smart City Construction Investment will also be held.

In addition, participants will network with industry elites, hear testimonials from other startups, and attract investments through roadshows. A university debate competition and a signing ceremony for investments of intent and projects of cooperation will also be held.
