Pingtan holds national vocational skills competition

The event, launched by the Ministry of Education in 2008, has been held ten times and serves to deepen higher vocational education reform, intensify cultivation of skilled and applied talents, and create an environment of societal awareness and support for higher vocational education.

As a host city, Pingtan is actively building itself into an international tourism island in the Taiwan Straits, and thus shall be discovered by more people across the country through the competition.
