Pingtan in South China's Fujian province has announced plans to construct a high-end marine fishing resort in two neighboring coastal villages, Baisha and Baisheng, in Baiqing town.
With an investment of 200 million yuan ($29 million), the plush resort shall include a yacht marina, sea fishing decks, chic homestays and other top-notch facilities, according to Qiu Yingqiang, general manager of Pingtan Tourism Co.
