Gain proficiency in many sports at Jinwan tech park

The May 10 "Outdoor Sports Innovation" event at Zhidian Tech Park in Hongqi Town of Jinwan District marks the beginning of a new intensity of athletic training and experiences in Zhuhai.

The Zhidian Outdoors Industrial Platform lists 27 enterprises covering well-known domestic clubs. At hand are all-terrain vehicles and karts, matching and creative plans, a super brain-training camp, outdoor educational programs, physical exercises, ski instruction, paragliding and unmanned aerial vehicle coaching, electronic sports, sports equipment R&D, production and sales, and intelligent technology.

An industrial development model is in the works, as well as talent and management operation patterns to unite various outdoor industrial operating agencies that encourage the public to participate in outdoor sports. 

Three enterprises signed contracts with the Zhidian Outdoors Industrial Platform at the opening ceremony. They are Winter Wonder Land, Zhuhai Zhijing Sports Management Co Ltd, and New Power Cultural Development Co Ltd.

Skiing in virtual reality

The base of the platform is located at Zhidian Tech Park, encompassing the Xiachuan Island Paraglider Flying, Golden Beach Aquatic Sports Activity, Huatian Water Village Outdoor Characteristic Education Training, and Zhuhai Airshow Center Dynamic Demonstration Zone All-terrain Off-road bases. The Golden Beach Aquatic Sports Activity Base will open during the summer vacation and make visitors feel like they are on Phuket Island in Southeast Asia. Sporting equipment there includes motorboats, overwater aircraft, aquatic power skates, sailboats, sailboards, canoes, paddle boards, flying fish, overwater sofas, and water cycles.

Platform founder Wang Huijuan said that Zhidian Outdoors will further Zhuhai's outdoors industrial development incubation as the first sports e-business in Jinwan and first service provider integrating Internet Plus with culture, sports, and tourism.

Su Jinling, deputy director of the District Culture, Sports & Tourism Bureau, said that Jinwan has been transforming and upgrading the traditional tourism industry in recent years. Based on its coastal advantage, the area has combined culture, tourism, and sports with the Internet. This is creating a characteristic tourism pattern that provides the public with high-end and healthy outdoor sports.
