Wuxi industry to be highlighted on CCTV 2

Wuxi is the event's third stop, having first visited Shenyang in Liaoning province and Chengdu in Sichuan province. The Jiangsu city was chosen because it is the cradle of modern national industry in China and has undergone a momentous path and witnessed the ups and downs in national industry and commerce, said Huang Qin, vice mayor of Wuxi.

To further boost the development of industry, the Wuxi government plans to invest 20 billion yuan ($2.9 billion) in supporting industrial upgrades and technological innovation during the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020).
