2017 "Xinwu Cup" Culture Creative Competition kicks off

According to Gu Jianwei, founder of 3W Café, the first prize winner will be awarded 50,000 yuan ($7,252), while five runners up will receive 10,000 yuan each, and nine people will each win 3,000 yuan.

Entrants will be judged by a panel of experts and online votes, with the entries with the highest scores going through to the final in the middle of August.

The Xinwu Cup is part of a wider drive to promote culture and innovation in the city in Jiangsu province. The event is being held as part of the third Wuxi Culture Creative Design Contest, which is scheduled to be held at the end of the month.
