Act Two of the 2017 Extreme Sailing Series from April 28 to May 1 provided a fantastic opportunity for sailing fans and shutterbugs to experience the thrills, tricky maneuvers and high intensity of "F1 on the Sea" in Qingdao, China's Olympic Sailing City.
Established in 2007, the Extreme Sailing Series is the original "stadium-style" racing circuit designed for spectators, delivering high-performance action close to shore.
It's the seventh year Qingdao has hosted a round of the Extreme Sailing Series.
Seven top teams from around the world vied in this year's event, including Austria's Red Bull Extreme Sailing Team, whose skipper is two-time Olympic gold medalist Roman Hagara, and Swiss sailing team Alinghi, the 2016 Extreme Sailing Series champions.
