Children with autism took part in an art activity held in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on April 2. The event was aimed at promoting autism awareness among residents, Baotou Daily reported.
Hosted by Baotou Disabled Persons’ Federation, the activity featured participation of children with autism and those involved created a range of artwork including water color paintings and handicrafts.
Some of the artwork pieces were sold at auction with a total of 2,561.5 yuan ($372) being raised by artworks made the children, calligraphers, painters, and folk artists.
