Baotou of North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region has partnered with West Hope Group to build a modern eco-agricultural park in Shiguai district, reported Baotou Daily.
Covering an area of 3,800 mu (253 hectares) and at a total cost of 3.5 billion yuan ($508 million), the eco-agricultural park will be a comprehensive ecofriendly project serving Baotou city’s urban area.
Shiguai District and West Hope Group will strengthen cooperation and exchanges to utilize the advantages of West Hope Group in eco-agriculture, education, tourism and other aspects, according to Du Xuejun, mayor of Baotou city.
West Hope Group, a national key company founded in 1982 in Sichuan province, Southwest China, has become a leader in the agricultural industry.
