Kite flying competition held in Baotou

A child flies Superman kite in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on April 8. Hosted by the Baotou Education Bureau, the competition attracted a total of 105 students from 35 primary and middle schools in the city. Kite flying, originating over 2,000 years ago in ancient China, is a traditional pastime popular among Chinese people.
