Lushunkou City has received a total of more than 50,000 visitors and gained a total income of 9.3 million yuan ($1.35 million) during the three-day Tomb-sweeping (Qingming) festival holiday between Apr 2 and 4, official data showed on Tuesday.
Assorted Activities
A variety of activities were promoted during the holiday, including a tree planting campaign “Everyone can hear green” at 203 Plum Blossom Park, an experience package tour which was jointly hosted by 203 Cherry Blossom Park and Tianmu Hot Spring Resort, and a three-day package ticket special offer.

Hot Spring Fever
Three Hot Spring resorts drew massive crowds, particularly in and around Lushunkou City, reaching a total of 5,500 visitors and generating 700,000 yuan ($101,518) in revenue.

Great increase in Agri-tainment
Eight farmhouses received more than 5,000 visitors totaling a revenue of around 300,000 yuan ($43,506) during the three-day holiday.

Self-driving tour continues to heat up
Family-based self-driving tours have continued to grow in recent years. According to Lushunkou City tourism officials, the Science Education road trip, which was organized by the Dalian Submarines museum this holiday, attracted 4,500 visitors.
In spite of the vast influx of people and numerous activities, no accidents or complaints took place during the holiday, marking a great success in the orderly management of the tourism market.
