National men's freestyle wrestling qualifier held in Ulanqab

The Men’s Freestyle Wrestling Qualifier for the 13th National Games in conjunction with a national-level men’s wrestling championship began in Inner Mongolia’s Ulanqab on March 29.

The four-day event attracted over 500 athletes and coaches that made up 39 teams from across China. The matches divided into several weight levels such as 57kg, 61kg, and 70kg.

The 13th National Games will be held in Tianjin from Aug 27 to Sept 8 this year, according to China’s Sports Bureau.
