Newly-formed exhibition business established in Shenyang

China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation and Shenyang International Exhibition Co Ltd recently conducted a joint strategy of mergers and acquisitions, resulting in the establishment of a new company, according to information from Shenyang Council for the Promotion of International Trade on March 30.

China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation is a Beijing-based business affiliated to the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The business now has 28 subsidiaries and branches, which is of great importance to China for pavilion operations and organizing domestic and overseas exhibitions.

The newly-established company, Liaoning Zhongzhan International Exhibition Co Ltd, has registered capital of 5 million yuan ($769,000). The company will mainly undertake tasks such as planning exhibitions in Shenyang and the Northeast China region, organizing the representation of Liaoning province at overseas exhibitions, as well as seeking cooperation opportunities with exhibition projects in the region.

The establishment of the new company marks an important step for Shenyang in introducing State-owned enterprises to the city, with the respective advantages of the two companies expected to complement each other.

Currently, the exhibition items that have been confirmed by the newly-established company include the Shenyang Aviation Expo and the Shenyang International Robotics Exhibition.
