Baotou, the largest city in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has been chosen to host the 18th China Green Food Expo according to a press conference held in Beijing on March 18.
The expo will take place at the Baotou International Convention and Exhibition Center from Aug 18 to 21 and will be co-hosted by China Green Food Development Center, the Agriculture and Husbandry Department of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and the people’s government of Baotou.
The expo will focus on highlighting key green concepts, green production, and green consumption.
The expo was initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture in 1990 and has since become one of the largest and most professional green food gatherings in China. It aims to showcase the latest developments in agricultural products and focuses on techniques around organic and natural foods, whilst also striving to boost trade and development.
