International students help improve Shenyang’s metro

International students in Shenyang will be able to enjoy more convenient metro services in the future, as the operator of Shenyang’s metro invited some international students to ride the subway and provide their advice for future improvements.

On March 16, several international students who had recently arrived in Shenyang and could not speak Chinese, sampled Shenyang’s metro services including ticket-buying, transfers, and lost luggage, and found all they were looking for without the help of any Chinese staff members.

They experienced subway services at Shenyang North Railway Station and Qingnian Street Station along with several others.

Shenyang’s metro operator will improve their services for foreigners based on feedback and suggestions from the international students.
