Harbin has issued a guideline to promote the rapid and sound development of its advertising industry.
The guideline is divided into 25 terms and makes specific proposals on market access policy, registering procedures and promotional measures.
Policy support will be given to those advertising companies that are encouraged by the country. Restrictions have been loosened for the words used in advertising company names. For example, words such as “media” and “advertising” now can be used in company names.
The guideline also urges the development of the advertisement design industry, and advocates the establishment of an advertising production park in the city.
