A Chinese electronics company has just patented world-leading technology to produce intelligent air coolers.
Harbin Jingfang Electronic Equipment Science and Technology Co Ltd received the invention patent certificate from the State Intellectual Property Office. The company is now assembling and testing model machines, and is expected to start production in the latter half of the year.
The annual market for air coolers in the Chinese market amounts to 3 billion yuan ($434 million). Currently, China imports all its intelligent air coolers.
Traditional air coolers have the cooling function but no safety function.
"The intelligent air cooler developed by Harbin Jingfang has made many improvements, using modern intelligent monitoring methods to monitor the air coolers,” said Zhang Yujun, the company’s chief executive officer.
The key technology used in the product is at a globally leading level, and the production cost is about one-third of imported products.
Successful application of this research will fill in the blanks for China’s air coolers in the international market, Zhang said.
