In 2016, the value added of construction enterprises in China was 4.95 trillion yuan($745.56 billion), up by 6.6 percent from 2015.
The profits made by construction enterprises qualifying for general contracts and specialized contracts reached 674.5 billion yuan, up by 4.6 percent from 2015. Of this total, the profits made by state-holding enterprises were 187.9 billion yuan, up by 6.8 percent.
