Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort

Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort is a multi-functional resort that is comprised of a hotel, Luosanmei Mountain, a golf course, and a natural hot spring. The resort covers an area of 2.2 square kilometers. It consists of a number of gardens with many different functions and unique features, which cater to both leisure and business travelers. 

Funded by well-known Hong Kong entrepreneur Fok Ying Tung and Macao entrepreneur Stanley Ho, the resort is China’s first Sino-foreign joint tourist venture enterprise. The resort officially opened on December 28, 1980.

Since 2008, the hotel has invested several hundred million yuan for the comprehensive renovation of the Business Garden, Cuiheng Garden, Royal Garden Villa, International Conference Center, Chinese restaurant, Western restaurant, and other functional areas. The related facilities have been fully upgraded with greatly improved business-government reception areas, conference and exhibition halls, and holiday and leisure amenities. In 2012, the hotel also invested a significant amount of money in the refurbishment of the open-air hot spring spa and the Central Garden, which is expected to be operational at the end of this year, improving the overall brand image.
