Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co Ltd

Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co Ltd (ZECC) was established in 1975 in the Zhenhai district of Ningbo and was originally named Zhejiang Refining & Chemical Factory. 

The company was listed in Hong Kong in 1994, and withdrew the list in March 2006, according to the strategic plan of China Petroleum & Chemical Group (Sinopec). 

ZRCC has edged into a category of world-class refineries and ranks 17th among the world largest refineries. The company now has an annual producing capacity of 2.3 kilotons of crude oil and 1 million tons of acetylene, a maritime shipping capacity of 4.5 kilotons and 3.5 million cubic meters in tank capacity. All statistics mark ZRCC stepping forward to build itself into a world-class, high-tech and integrated refining and chemical enterprise.
