Mount Tai promoted in Xinjiang

A Mount Tai promotion event jointly organized by the Mount Tai management committee and Xinjiang Fengjing Travel International was held on July 6 in Urumqi, the regional capital of Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, Mount-tai.com.cn reported.

Two travel routes, Beijing-Dalian-Mount Tai-Shandong Peninsula, and Mount Tai-Baotu Spring- Confucius' hometown, and two tourism products, "coming-of-age ritual at Mount Tai" and "competition of climbing Mountain Tai" were recommended at the conference.

After in-depth discussions, the Mount Tai management committee and Xinjiang Fengjing Travel International agreed to implement a three-year marketing plan to promote tourism products of Mount Tai and its surrounding areas in Xinjiang, in a bid to foster and boost its regional tourism market.
