Pan-cakes are a major food in the countryside areas. They are mainly made by hand. After making the paste of grains and leavening it, one can make pan-cakes on a griddle.
According to the time of leavening, there are sweet pan-cakes and sour pan-cakes; according to the materials, there are corn pan-cakes, flour pan-cakes, bean pan-cakes and vegetable pan-cakes and so forth.
