Cliff Inscription of Tang Dynasty

To the north of Bixia Temple, there are many engravings on the cliff which is called Cliff of Grand View.

The text of the inscription named "Inscription commemorating Mount Tai" was written by Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907) when he came to worship Mount Tai in 725 AD.

The engraved stone is of 13.3 meters high and 5.3 meters wide. Its forehead is of 1.3 meters high. There are 1000 Chinese characters engraved which speak highly of the grandness of Mount Tai, displaying the prosperity of Tang Dynasty at the same time.

The engraved cliff is of high value of art and history.
