The general public budget revenue reached 15.22 trillion yuan($2.44 trillion) in 2015, an increase of 832.4 billion yuan or 5.8 percent over the previous year.
China collected 11.06 trillion yuan in taxes in 2015, up 6.6 percent year-on-year. The growth pace was in line with overall economic growth.
Tax collected from tertiary industry accounted for 54.8 percent of the total, up 1.3 percentage points from the previous year and 9.7 percentage points higher than the secondary sector. The growth rate in tax collected from the tertiary sector was 7.6 percent, 5.5 percentage points higher than the secondary sector. Modern commerce service sectors, especially software and IT technology services, developed healthily in 2015.
